ReturnDeepening Cross-Border Collaboration to Build a Robust Industrial Ecosystem: Delegation from ICL Group of Israel Visits Lixing Technology for Strategic Cooperation Talks
Release time:
2026-01-19 00:00
On January 19, 2026, Elad Aharonson, CEO of ICL Group, a globally leading specialty chemicals company based in Israel, led a core delegation on a visit to the headquarters of Lixing Technology, where they held strategic cooperation talks with Mr. Bao, head of Lixing Technology, and relevant teams. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on key issues such as the development prospects of the PTA industry, supply-chain security for hydrobromic acid, and the deepening of cross-border collaboration, thereby laying a solid foundation for fostering long-term, stable cooperation between the two companies.
As a global leader in the bromine industry, ICL Group holds a world-leading position in key chemical feedstocks such as hydrobromic acid, while Lixing Technology is an important strategic partner of ICL in China, with a deeply established foundation of collaboration between the two companies. At the meeting, ICL President Elad Aharonson first expressed his gratitude for Lixing Technology’s warm hospitality and highly commended the long-standing, friendly cooperation with Jinhaigang. He emphasized that ICL has always placed great importance on the Chinese market and will continue to put customer needs at the core, delivering stable and reliable supply-chain assurance.
During the industry-development discussion, Mr. Bao addressed the ICL delegation’s concerns about the outlook for the PTA industry and the impact of international relations. He noted that, despite overcapacity in China’s PTA sector, global demand—particularly in emerging markets—remains poised for growth, thereby creating ample room for both sides to deepen upstream–downstream cooperation. Both parties agreed that China and Israel enjoy strong economic complementarity and that enterprises should focus on commercial value to further advance and deepen their collaboration.
At the meeting, Ilia Tsilov, General Manager of ICL for Asia-Pacific and China, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to ensuring supply, stating that ICL will make every effort to coordinate global resources to meet the raw-material requirements of Jinhaigang’s production operations. Meanwhile, Mr. Bao emphasized that Lixing Technology is accelerating the rollout of new products and looks forward to expanding cooperation with ICL across a broader range of areas to achieve synergistic development throughout the industrial value chain.
The visit by the ICL Group’s CEO delegation not only deepened mutual understanding of industry trends but also clarified the key priorities for future collaboration. Moving forward, Lixing Technology and ICL will take this round of discussions as a catalyst to strengthen resource synergy, with a sustained focus on stabilizing supply chains, exploring new business opportunities, and expanding into emerging markets. Together, they will build an ecosystem for cross-border cooperation in the chemical industry, achieving mutual benefit, win-win outcomes, and long-term sustainable development.
